1. What cookies do

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Krentova uses them to remember a consent choice, support essential page behaviour and understand broad site usage.

A cookie normally contains a short identifier or preference rather than the full contents of an order enquiry. Cookies cannot read unrelated files on your device. Your browser may show the domain, expiry date and storage settings for each cookie, and you can remove them at any time through the browser controls.

Cookie use is assessed alongside the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable electronic communications requirements. Where a cookie is optional, the site presents a choice before placing it where required.

2. Session cookies

Session cookies help a browser maintain temporary state while pages are open.

Examples include a temporary consent-dialogue state and a short-lived security value used to distinguish one browsing session from another. These values are not intended to contain a name, phone number or delivery address. They are normally removed when the browser session closes, although a browser may restore tabs or session data according to its own settings.

If session cookies are blocked, the public pages should remain readable, but a preference or form interaction may need to be repeated. Krentova does not use a session cookie as a substitute for the order information submitted in the form.

They normally expire when the browsing session ends.

They may support navigation between pages or preserve a temporary interaction state, but they are not intended to identify you by name. If you close the browser, some session information may disappear immediately; other browser settings can affect the exact expiry behaviour. Blocking all cookies may make certain interactive features less convenient.

3. Preference cookie

The cookieChoice value records Accept All or Reject for up to 12 months. It prevents the consent notice appearing on every page.

4. Analytics

If analytics are enabled in future, they will be configured with privacy-conscious settings and disclosed here before use. Optional analytics require consent where applicable.
